IARC is an organisation with limited funds. Accordingly,
the contribution of IARC’s committed and competent volunteers
is extremely valuable to our centre and our clients, enabling us
to maximize accessibility to our services.
IARC engages around 50 volunteers each year. Our
volunteers fall into two broad categories:
- Daytime volunteers who assist
with administrative, paralegal and/ or research tasks during ordinary
business hours (9am to 5pm).
- Evening advice volunteers
who are qualified and experienced Registered Migration Agents.
IARC has recently suspended the evening advice service and will
make an announcement via this website when recruitment of volunteer
migration agents recommences.

Daytime volunteers.
IARC considers all volunteer applications received
for daytime volunteer work, and assesses applications against the
needs of the centre at the relevant time. Due to the high volume
of applications received, and the limited resources of our centre,
it is impossible to respond to all requests received. Rest assured,
however, that your application is much appreciated, it will be considered
and you will be contacted should a suitable vacancy arise within
3 months of the date your application is received. Further information
about how to become an IARC daytime volunteer is available at How
to apply – Daytime Volunteers.
